About

Griffin Scott lives in West Monroe, Louisiana with his wife, Amy, and two children, Taylor and Lennon. He is the former co-host of Rock 106’s Whipping Boy Show. Most recently, Scott served as senior news anchor on Monroe/El Dorado’s NBC affiliate KTVE. Scott received national attention when he was fired by former news director Melissa Klinzing after posting the following comment on his personal Facebook page:

“[Griffin Scott] knows what the Enola Gay was and that makes me the only person under 40 who knew that in our newsroom. Not sure whether to be proud or not…”

In September 2009, Scott filed a lawsuit against Nexstar Broadcasting, parent company of KTVE/KARD, for breach of contract and unlawful termination. Since then, he won the right to receive unemployment benefits after an administrative law judge ruled that Scott’s actions did not meet the test of misconduct. Scott’s lawsuit is pending.

This is his blog. If you don’t like it, well, don’t read it. It is, after all, still a free country.
